Matilda, The Musical

Our little Matilda nailed it last week!

And kinda surprised us all.

We had no idea she could rock a British accent and that voice!

Matilda's parents were so funny!

Both were perfect for their parts.

And Miss Trunchbull was amazing!

She was so funny and boy could she sing!

Nick says if you're wondering what he looked like in Jr High...

Lilly's bestie Gia was the acrobat--she rocked it!

Lilly never broke character, not even a little.

Bruce was the best.

So funny.

Trunchbull, seriously, so funny.

Turns out, Bruce has pipes too.

He sang like a boss at the end.

Such a fun show!

And can you believe, of our 7 kids, Lilly is the first to do anything with theater.

Kev and I were never in musicals or plays--although I did take a semester of stage crew in 9th grade 😊, and was a dancer in our church’s performance of The Music Man.

So maybe she gets it from her mother 😂.
