Welcome to The Temple

Last Friday we road tripped to Manti to go to the Manti Temple open house.

Kevin was so excited.

As you can tell.

Janie's bestie Taylee came along too.

This was not the smooth sailing experience we had last month touring the Red Cliffs temple.

We had an hour and 20 minute wait.

In the freaking wind.

It was rough.

We sent the girls to the truck while the parent's toughed it out.

That's what nice parents do.

They only had to wait in the wind about 10 minutes.

We were a little surprised that the inside of the temple didn't look much different from before it closed for renovations.

They updated plumbing, heating, fixed a leak, refurbished the exterior and some of the interior, among other things.

There are so many unique and beautiful things in this temple.

If you can make it to the open house you should go--maybe not on a Friday or Saturday though. Saturday it was a 3 hour wait to get inside.
