Celebrating 30 Years of Garren!
Garren turned 30 on Friday!
Maisie's always up for blowing out candles.
Garren's sister Nickelle and her husband Ben flew in to surprise Garren.
They filled the weekend with Fat Cats, Sledding, and a Jazz game.
Then we celebrated 30 years of Garren last night with roast beast and banana cream pie.
So grateful for Garren and the blessing he is to the Beck family.
He's so good to our Emmy. The cutest dad to Maisie. And was just promoted to assistant principal in seminary 👊👏👏👏.
We'll have another 30 year old next month!
On Christmas Day Garren shared with us the exciting news that his parents have been called as mission presidents!
They begin their mission in July, serving in Honduras for three years.
Those missionaries are so lucky to have Kyle and SueAnn as their leaders.
They are amazing.
Kyle served his mission in Argentina and was bishop of a Spanish ward for several years. SueAnn learned quite a bit of Spanish while Kyle was bishop and she's currently working with a tutor to become more fluent.
The rest of the week was a good one!
Got to bond with Kloe over a blood draw.
She was a little nervous.
Just the thought of blood and needles causes her to feel like passing out.
The nurse asked if she'd like to lay down for the blood extraction.
Yes she did!
Kloe handled it like a pro.
Easy peasy.
I got lots of Jesus time with my high school peeps last week.
I looked a little like a librarian on this day...
One of my favorite things about teaching seminary is the ongoing teacher training.
Thursday's training was so good.
