Christmas Day 2023 - The Best Day

Nick joined us for Christmas morning this year.

Christmas is a lot different without so many little ones.

Kloe and Nick got plane tickets to go visit the Arizona Becks!

Arizona in January is dreamy.

We don't really do gifts for each other on Christmas morning.

We kind of have an agreement all year long. If we really want something, we get it.

Lilly lost her prized white Eskimo Joe shirt so she was happy about the replacement and two other Eskimo shirts to add to her collection.

I think she's up to 37 or something.

Our kids love their dad's custom Sluffin' it Outdoors hats.

He just designed a new style.

It's very cool and everyone is going to want to trade theirs in for the new one, including Kloe with this one.

After gifts we got busy fixing breakfast.

I know white Christmas's are magical.

But sort of warm Christmas's are pretty great too.

We feasted on Papa Dave's traditional Christmas breakfast with Mama Linda's homemade bread and jams, all the meats, eggs and cheesy potatoes.

Then it was back downstairs for more gifts 

and time with our missionary.

The Arizona Becks joined along with Jenna from the hospital.

She looked and sounded great!

We spent the rest of the day watching movies and I made some great progress on a gingerbread house puzzle. 

Aside from missing those who were missing, it was the best day!
