Table for 20

This was not supposed to be the 2023 Jackson Hole Beck family photo.

Picture day was stormy and wet.

But I think we still nailed it with this one...

The early birds get the babies...

Isn't baby bed head the best 💙.

Friday was breakfast by the lake day.

The forecast was rainy, but we thought it would clear up in time for bacon and eggs.

It did not.

It was very wet and very rainy.

So cooking breakfast looked like this...

And several of us ate breakfast in the cars.

PS - Tami was not going for the Mickey Mouse look.

She does this cool thing with her hair at night that produces the most beautiful curls.

She waited to take them out until before the pictures. 

Smart, she definitely won the prize for best hair.

We stopped at the lodge (which is where we got that amazing family photo).

Aubrey says the best part about marrying Jackson was getting all the awesome grandparents.

Did some shopping...

And then we drove into town for dinner at Merry Piglets, a fun little Mexican place.

We asked for a table for 20, and it just so happened they had one.

15 years ago or so...

and Gracie's still pounding the guac!

And Beau Bear pounding the fried ice cream.

Grandma Becky did too. It was delicious.

I also stopped to see my friend Karri, who works in Jackson. 

Remember Karri, who saved me and Jackson's life after all four of our knees went out hiking in the Tetons two years ago?

So fun to see her. It was a quick visit and I forgot to snap a picture 😕. 

Karri's one of those friends who you don't see for two years, and then pick right back up where you left off. She's the best!

Kind of a crazy fun day that I'm sure we'll be talking about for years to come.
