Temple Date with Lilly

Lilly's been asking to do baptisms in the Jordan River Temple, so we took her for the first time last month.
This temple is huge, probably the biggest she's been in so far since it's the 4th largest of the 256 temples.

She was baptized by her dad for 10 people who died without baptism.
It's fun for me to think about meeting all the people we've done proxy work for in the temple--all part of the Lord's amazing plan to give all His children all His power and blessings.
She chose Pizza Pie for lunch afterward.
So proud of Lilly for all she accomplished this past school year.
She says she definitely loved going to Jr High for 6th grade.
I feel like Jr High would have eaten me alive as a 6th grader.
Of course, I was nothing like Lilly though.
I was a lot more reserved and timid and my self-esteem wasn't great.
Lilly knows who she is and doesn't hold back if there's something she wants to do.
Love her so much!

Speaking of temples, we took a tour of the Saratoga Springs Temple with our youth a few weeks ago.

And wow, was it incredible.
The inside was decorated with bold purples and blues--so beautiful.
If you live anywhere near this temple, go see it! They are still giving tours.
