Jesus Took Care of It

Isn't he the cutest little patient you ever did see?!

Last Tuesday Will had his procedure and we are SO GRATEFUL the Dr's found something!!
There was a structural issue in his throat causing him to aspirate and have problems swallowing.
They treated the area and moving forward he'll need more therapies and monitoring.
It's possible he'll need the area stitched depending upon how the next few months go.
I have to give a shout out to grandma Sally who diagnosed Will before the Dr's found the problem.

Sally's an amazing nurse and has offered many prayers of faith in Will's behalf.
Grandma Becky has too.

Will handled the anesthesia well and was on his way home by lunch time.

Earlier that morning Beau got dressed up for the 100th day of school celebration.

"Hey, get outta my yard!"

He's a pretty cute ornery old man.

His brother is too...

I spent the morning with Logan exploring the park.

Never a dull moment with this little dude.

Grandma Becky brought legos for the boys.
Grandpa Beau did a bunch all by himself.

That night we went to Fat Cat's for a movie.
You'd never guess Will spent the morning in the hospital.
He was happy all day, had a good nap, and ate like a champ.
He was done after about 20 minutes of Puss in Boots, so he and grandma explored all the fun things to do at Fat Cats.

Love watching these boys have fun together.

We spent more time at the park.

Logan taught grandma Becky how to be the safety officer when crossing the street.

Aunt Meggie joined us the night before I headed home.

Papa Tom's Cabin is Will's happy place.
He LOVES spending time in there.
It's the cutest.

As with every Arizona trip, I am surrounded by cacti.
Always reminding me to let go of all the things I can't (and have no business trying to) control.

And just like the picture, true freedom really can be found in letting go, and letting Jesus take over.

Speaking of Jesus.
One of the last times I was visiting the Arizona Becks, either November or August, I saw a skunk in their neighborhood. I said right out loud, "Oh my gosh, that was a skunk".
Well, a few weeks ago the Arizona Beck's saw a skunk in their backyard 😬.
Thank goodness Beau and Jesus took care of it.
