It's Sold

Well, it's the end of an era.
The Emma Sollis family Cabin era.
The cabin is sold.
With all of the aunts and uncles in their 70's and 80's, it was time.
One of my uncles and a friend of their family is in the process of buying it.
I feel like I can't be upset about the sale of it.
I've had 42 years of cabin blessings and with no sacrifice on my part.
My parents and aunts, uncles and grandmothers have absorbed all of its expenses, for which I'll always be grateful.
I'm especially grateful that it's been a place I could go these past 4 years to feel closer to my dad.
It was Papa Tom's happy place and more recently mine too.

Natalie was in town so we took a quick sisters trip up for a night.
We turned on the fire and the Christmas lights and had the best time.
We ate loaded taco soup and Meg and I ate nice cream (Natalie doesn't do bananas).
We talked about the pop shop drinks we used to have at the cabin--except I was the only one who remembered pop shops.
We talked about the good and hard stuff in our lives and of course we talked about Jesus.
Until I passed out at 9:30.

Nat and I left early Saturday morning for our Creation Coach Graduation.

Not all of my sisters are Vera fans.
Kimmy and Meg are not fans.
And yet Megan wears a coat resembling something from the Vera collection.

Scarlet got us there and back.
Sometimes she can't make it over 45 MPH on the climbs.
Good thing we weren't in any hurry.
