Disney Day 4 2022

Let's just talk about Tom for a minute.

This kid has a photographic memory.

Because of that, he kept us entertained while we waited in line.

He told us all about dementia and some of its causes.

He educated us on the urine cycle.

Side note: Lilly had no idea what "urine" was before this conversation.

He's been studying the various systems of the body and with his mind he should be a doctor or chemist or something.

Gooey loved being with her nephews.

She also loved wearing her Eiffel Tower mickey ears.

Turns out they let the tiny guys ride the space jets, or whatever they're called.

Isn't he so cute!

My nieces were invited to dance on stage in California Disney, which is what spurred this whole trip.

Lauren, Lyla and Lyndsey rocked it!

And aren't the twins so cute.

Didn't even plan it.

Small World is actually one of my least favorite rides.

That song playing over and over and over is too much.

So grateful the whole Arizona Beck family could come!

Saying goodbye was a bummer...

Jax and Aubrey and the boys headed home Saturday evening.

We stayed to close the park down.

Lilly catching a few zzzz's before the finale of rides.

If you're wondering what a sell out crowd looks like...

We escaped the crowd to the mostly empty tea cups and got front row seats to the fireworks.

It was pretty magical.

Kloe was done after riding the monorail, so we left the rest of the ladies to keep riding.

We were all asleep by 1am and even though our alarms didn't go off Sunday morning, we still made it to the airport in time.

While we waited for our flight we tuned into Byron's farewell talk.

He's one of Gracie's best friends who’s starting his mission next week.

And then Lilly passed out.

Disneyland is not a relaxing vacation, if that's what you're looking for.

You may know, my Kevin is anti crowds and spinny rides and hot weather, so he stayed home.

Janie debated between soccer and Disneyland and soccer won.

Gracie had a full Senior schedule.

So we brought them souvenirs, but what Kevin and Janie were most excited about was the homemade elk jerky Jax sent from Janie's elk.
