This is My Weekly - Sister Beck's Weekly Update

 olá! :) como estão todos? tudo bom? 

This week was aight. 

We had Zone Conference in Nancy and that was goooood. The theme was "Seek Jesus". 

It's like everything is always catered just to me 😇😌 I enjoyed it. It's been my focus the past 3 months to just focus on Jesus. More Jesus. Seek Jesus. Don't over complicate it. He's the reason. 

I've been reading the new testament and WOW. Jesus is the best. I have grown to love all the scriptures so much. This week I was in the end of John and into Acts and it is fire. Shot after shot. Jesus says it straight and I appreciate that. You wanna know who else says it straight? Peter. That man is incredible. 

I love the scriptures. 

My companion doesn't really comprehend the massiveness of the states so I made a picture to show her how many times Luxembourg could fit into Utah and I myself was also shocked. If you have ever wondered, Luxembourg could fit into Utah at LEAST 50 times. I'm no mathematician and our resources for figuring this out are very limited. BUT, the map is to scale, I didn't zoom in or out for one or the other. 🤯

Europe is tiny but somehow they pack everyone and everything in super tightly. 

The whole country of France could seriously be a state and Americans would be like "yeehaw". 

Anywho, I'm suuure one of my older siblings will fact check me on all of this but I'm feeling pretty confident I'm close. I'll keep you updated. 

I went out onto the balcony at night to just give a shoutout to God for being good to me and I'm talking to Him and after I say amen I hear a meow right along with me and see this cat just staring at me. It was so funny. It was just perched there on the railing listening to me. 

I felt weirdly connected to it 🤝🏼🤝🏼

Creatures in Christ, I guess.

We went to an Italian restaurant with the Willetts and I had a calzone. Turns out they're actually good! I've had a mall calzone once and it was basically a hot pocket that was never not hot. Just burning red sauce in bread. But this one was 

🤌🏽😚🤌🏽 chefs kiss. So good. 

Then they got Sr Rondinelli (us;) Italian delicacies like honey and cheeses and Italian treats. It was so good. So blessed that my comp is Italian 😂 Sundays have become Carbonara days. My life is good. 

Sunday night we spent with the Palacios from the Philippines! It was so much fun. It made me miss Sister English from Lake Mary. We had a little homemade buffet and Spiderman cake for Aidans birthday. Made me think of Janers ;) 

A cool thing lately is I've been working with my MTC comp, Sr Nielsen! She's in Lille right now and they have two friends from Perú that we are helping them teach! It has been really cool and fun. They are close to baptism 🤍

Fun fact: I'm the only Hermana in the mission right now! My current comp was called French speaking and the other 2 sisters called spanish speaking in the mission are serving in French as well. The rest went home the last two transfers 😬

There's some elders that have volunteered to do Spanish work so there's elders in Paris and Brussels right now.
