Her Final Pay Out & A Happy Birthday
On Tuesday Lilly had a full set of teeth.
On Wednesday the Dentist pulled 4 of them to prepare her for braces.
She's pretty tough.
She didn't need any gas and the Doc had those teeth out in no time.
She cracked me up afterward--she would not stop talking to me and I couldn't understand what she was saying with all the gauze stuffed in her mouth.
Having 4 teeth pulled is kind of a big deal.
I asked her if she ever got nervous and she said, "A little, before he started, but then I thought--Everything is happening for a reason and it's all part of God's plan and how it's supposed to be."
Wish I would have known that when I was 11.
Getting 4 teeth removed isn't so bad.
She scored her own container of Moose Tracks ice cream, some sort of funky drink she loves (too bad it all ran out the side of her mouth) and 20 bucks from the tooth fairy.
The tooth fairy made it clear it was her final payout.
(And sorry to her sibs who only got $1 per tooth)
Hopefully those gums heal up quick.
Trying to eat with 4 teeth missing is a struggle.
And a Happy Happy Birthday shout out to Mama Linda!
She's a wonderful mom, grandma and great grandma to all us Becks and we love her so much!
And we are all extra grateful for all the Storyworth stories she and Papa Dave have been sending us each week. The Storyworth membership was a gift we gave them--but who are we kidding, it's really been a gift for all of us.
