Good to Go

We had so much fun celebrating our 29 years (again) Friday.
Kevin especially had the best time spending the entire day with me.

We went to see Death on the Nile.
I read Agatha Christie books when I was a kid and loved them.
We both gave it a solid 3 stars, but I really loved the nostalgia of it all.

On our way to the Outback (thanks Mama Linda and Papa Dave!) our love manifested itself right before our eyes on the mountainside.

My man still LOVING our time together.

Have I mentioned I have 27 cactus shirts?
I'm not kidding.
27
One for each of the lessons in my Drop the Cactus course.
I even have an "ugly sweater" cactus shirt.

We sat next to a table of around 15 who I would guess to be in their 70's.
I really wanted to people watch, but that would have been awkward so I people listened instead.
They talked about all their ailments and their cruises. And then one lady tapped her glass to get everyone's attention and announced she'd just received a text that a woman they'd gone to high school with had just died. I gotta say, the people listening was a bit of a downer.
Then Kevin told me that should he die young, he's good to go. He's lived a good life and happy with all he's been able to experience. His wife and children however, would not be good with him going.
