God's Time Zone
Sunday nights feel like heaven at the Beck House.
Gathering for a family meal and just hanging out together is the best.
The only thing that would make it better is if all my babies could come!
Christmas music on the violin feeds my soul.
Miss Maisie turned a corner this week.
If you prayed for her to sleep, your prayer was answered.
Emmy also called upon the enabling power of Christ's Atonement last week during the Sacrament, asking the Lord to take care of Maisie and this sleep stuff.
It's only been in my 50th year of life that I've began drawing upon the enabling power offered to us during Christ's sacrament. It's not just for cleansing our sins.
Within a weeks time she's decided she loves her bed, loves her tummy (don't freak out, she's wearing her owlet) and she loves long naps. WooHoo!
You're never too young for a headlock.
We watched the First Presidency's Christmas Devotional last night.
I loved Sister Craig’s talk about sharing our spiritual gifts and giving the gift of our presence.
When we are fully present with our mind and body connected--in that space we are in God's presence.
In that space we are living in God's time zone and that is my favorite zone to live in.
Well, most of us watched the devotional.
Bishop/President Kevin had a big day.
His meetings started at 7am.
This was his last week doing double duty.
Next Sunday he'll be released.
Poor guy is in the thick of the learning curve of a new calling.
He had the Bishop thing down and now he's sort of starting over :)
