Christmas Eve 2021

Our Christmas Eve started off just like most of our others with the kids opening their Christmas PJ's.

Christmas Eve is one of our laziest days of the year.

We did make some food...

Wrapped a few gifts...

And then gathered for the traditional birthday dinner Mama Jan always fixed me back in the day.

I don't remember the sides she'd fix, but Gracie made us a raspberry pretzel salad and we added Aubrey's spinach salad and some broccoli.

Emmy made my favorite cheesecake for dessert (Mama Jan always made that for me too!)

We shared favorite Christmas memories and then they all said the nicest things about the 50 year old.

One of my favorite birthday memories are the years we'd go to the farm. I loved spending my birthday with grandma and grandpa Moon!

The best part of the meal was not having to clean it up!

Em made sure of that.

Miss Maisie and her parents stayed the night.

We played games.

Garren read the Christmas story.

We watched Mr Kruger's Christmas and Elf.

Such a good day.

And these two were pretty excited for Santa to come!
