Lockdown

Can we just take a minute and look at this perfect little face!!

And this one likes to bury her perfect little face just like this when she sleeps...

Last week I dragged the husband kicking and screaming to Andrea Bocelli.

Just kidding.

He was a great sport about it.

And tbh (that's teenager speak for "to be honest", if you're wondering) our favorite number was the one performed by one of his guests, Loren Allred. She sang Never Enough (from the Greatest Showman) and it was amazing!

Our excitement for the week was a shooter on the loose in our neighborhood yesterday morning.

The cops pulled him over and then he shot at them.

I woke up to flashing police lights on the street behind our house and then the helicopters started circling.

Later, when the kids were up and we were sitting around the dining room table doing gospel study we see three officers with flashlights and a dog searching our backyard.

My neighbor's son saw the shooter in his window well and then the guy went into the yard behind them and shot and killed himself.

So terrible.

So sad.

Such a crazy world we live in.
