Thanks Logan
Last week the girls had Fall Break so we spent a couple of days in Logan!
While Dad and Gracie and Janie did baptisms for the dead in the Logan Temple, Lilly and I ran to Walmart to find a swimsuit.
Lilly, my girl who loves the hotel pools, forgot her suit and finding a one in Utah in October isn't easy. The clearance rack had one swim top that would fit her and we found some dance shorts to go with it.
The girls had never been to Herm's so we introduced them to the breakfast of all breakfasts.
Our little Gracie put down over half that baby.
Gracie is thinking about college.
Utah State is on her possibility list so she toured the campus.
How can you not LOVE this campus!!
I am a bit partial.
The girls got their swim on...
The first day the hotel was booked with Colorado State soccer players. Those girls were very busy playing soccer, so my girls had the pool to themselves.
Kev and I made sure to go to our favorite Indian place.
This food!!
So good!
We worked in a hike...
And a drive up Logan Canyon...
Windows down, crisp fall air, leaves changing and Andrea Bocelli = Heaven
Except not when it's 50 degrees.
As soon as it got in the 60's, then it was heaven.
The girls had never seen Bear Lake so we gave them a peek...
And as always, we worked in some Tiny Spicy chicken...
The hot and sour soup is my fave!
We went to the Homecoming game against Colorado State.
Janie and Lilly had never been to a college football game.
I know! What kind of parents are we??
Kevin taught them the game of football and they loved every minute.
Gracie's bestie Addie was there, so they hung out!
Only at USU and Chick-Fil-A will you see grown adults dressed up like cows.
As we were packing up to go home, we hear the marching band out on the street.
There was a big homecoming parade and we had front row seats!!
I wasn't interested in getting wet, but the girls were all in.
Thanks Logan for the best times!
You never disappoint.
