Roomless
Lilly's been roomless for a while.
She gave up her room for Kloe while Kloe was home between college and the mission.
A few weeks after Lilly got settled back into her room, Emmy and Garren moved in to be closer to Maisie.
The other two girls at home aren't interested in sharing a room (and to be honest, Lilly is pretty messy creative). Janie doesn't want Lilly messing up her room, and Gracie only has room for her own mess.
So Lilly's made her a place on the couch in Dad's office (he's a VERY good sharer).
She's a little like the princess and the pea though, when it comes to sleeping. Always has been. Some nights she ends up on the couch in the living room, and some mornings she ends up in our bed.
Lilly has always loved all things art.
She loves the light board Mama Linda and Papa Dave gave her.
A few weeks ago she and I watched all the Iron Man's.
She loved them, mostly. The second movie really creeped her out.
Then she got new primary teachers and guess what their last name is?!
STARK
She thought that was the coolest so she drew them their very own Iron Man.
Last week Lilly and I stopped by to wish Grandma Meldrum a happy birthday!
She turned 84 but she prefers to flip the numbers to 48, so she and I are practically the same age.
Everyone's hoping Miss Maisie can come home soon.
I think Emmy and Garren are ready to live in their own home with their own baby.
I can only imagine that Maisie would be happy to get out of the hospital and be home with her parents 24/7.
And even though Lilly's pretty excited to get her room back (again) she never complains and is a good sport about helping.
