Dakota's Baptism

How handsome is that Dakota in his new suit!

Kevin baptized him and Papa Tom confirmed him.

The primary did a spotlight about Dakota and read it before his baptism.

One of the questions was, "Where do you want to serve your mission?"

Dakota's response, 

"Iraq".

The audience laughed a little, which annoyed Dakota.

He turned to Kevin and said, "The reason I want to go to Iraq is because Jesus won't come until the gospel is preached to the whole world, so if I go to Iraq Jesus will come even sooner."

Kevin could not keep it together after that.  He was so emotional he couldn't even tell me about it until later that night.

I birthed him.

Aunt Tami gave a talk about baptism.

Our church where he was baptized...

All of his grandparents were there.

Gracie slept through all of it.

We celebrated after at the Macaroni Grill.

This kid is the best!

He's got such a big heart and he loves to have fun.

He's an awesome friend and a great big brother to his sisters.

So grateful he's part of our family.
