So Good
Maisie Jane and her mama are doing so good!
And to clarify, Maisie is pronounced MayZ.
Maisie put her mama right to sleep.
I was able to meet Emmy's Dr today.
We were all so grateful to him for bringing Maise Jane into the world safely and keeping Emmy safe too.
He told us Emmy's lab results came back and she had had a severe placental abruption.
I'm thankful she was in the hospital when it happened.
Emmy believes everything happened the way it was supposed to, but she's very grateful she had no idea how it would all play out. Ignorance is bliss sometimes.
She enjoyed and embraced every minute of her pregnancy, but she's okay to skip the preeclampsia with the next one.
The nurses let Emmy and Garren take over when they are in the nursery.
Maisie does not like to be moved but she loves laying on her mama and hearing her mom and dad talk to her. I hear her dad gives the best hand hugs.
When Em's not in the nursery, Garren's facetiming her.
I told Em they ought to have a nanny cam in her room so she could watch her 24/7.
Garren and Emmy are the only ones who can be in the NICU, so pictures will have to do for the rest of us for another month or so.
