The Rage

Our summer family scripture study is not quite as consistent as it is during the school year.
We do our best.
Sometimes we have extras.

Kloe, Karter and Kait can't get enough of each other and they play so cute together.

We try to have quiet time for an hour or two in the afternoon.
Mostly so the little ones can nap and the big ones can read.
Sometimes all their summer fun catches up to them.

In order to meet the city requirements at the tow yard we had to do a lot of landscaping.

It took a few days and the kids didn't mind it a bit.
They love working with their dad and Papa Tom.

Right before the bottom fell out I'd purchased Raging Water's passes for the summer.
They were a life saver!

A couple days a week I pack a picnic lunch, we throw on our swim suits, load up in the Woody (the very old and very cool Jeep Wagoneer that replaced our repo'd van) and head to the Rage.
Woody was a vehicle Kevin towed that never got picked up, so we are driving it, windows down (A/C is broken) and country music playing (tape player does work).
The kids love it!
Despite the fact that the steering wheel feels like it's going to come off at any second, I have to admit, it makes for a fun ride.

Despite the financial struggles of our business, these kids have never been happier, and our family has never been stronger.  We still don't know how we are going to recover from the mess of it all, but Kevin goes to work every day, we pray every day, keep loving each other, and have faith that it will all work out.
