Restoration

The Salt Lake Temple is going on year two of a four year major restoration.

After Stake Conference Sunday we decided to take a little field trip to see the progress.

The foundation is still exposed (they are making the temple earthquake proof) and the spires have been removed.

It was the perfect day for a field trip!

Blue skies, 63 degrees.

The Spring flowers were in full bloom!

Every set of Sister Missionaries who saw Kloe's missionary tag wanted to stop and talk to her.

And those were just the ones I took pictures of.

We decided to take a walk up by the Capitol.

Everyone but Lilly was happy about it.

She's not a fan of hiking, or walking apparently.

Saved a caterpillar on the road...

Actually it was Kevin who saved it, none of the girls would touch it.

Other than someone forgetting the water and snacks and Lilly having to walk, it was a great field trip :)
