Bye Fridays 😢

Last Friday was the girls last distance learning Friday.

For Janie and Lilly, distance learning Friday = a day off 

and their mama has loved it!

So have they.

I've always voted for longer school days Monday - Thursday and Friday's off.

I think we'll all miss our Fridays next year.

Last Friday we spent some time helping Mama Jan fill her neighborhood dumpster.

She had another flood in her basement.

We've lost count how many she's had in the last few years.

This time she has to get rid of two rooms and a hallway full of carpet.

On the bright side, between the new kitchen my dad created for her, the updates we gave to her living room and a couple of bedrooms, and thanks to all the flooding she's had in the basement; she pretty much has a brand new house.
