Yosemite (and Sequoia) - Kloe's Senior Trip (Finally) Part Three

Thursday we were up and at 'em around 6am to make the 2 1/2 hour drive to...

We drove on more windy roads to get to the magical trees.
They were incredible.

It felt like we were in some sort of fantasy world.

Kloe noticed this guy's name quite a bit around the parks, so she bought his book and read to us all about him.

John's a pretty cool dude.

We drove to King's Canyon National Park, which is connected to Sequoia National Park, to see one of the largest Sequoia trees in the world.

Sequoia's are pretty amazing trees, and not just because they are ginormous...

We took another windy road out of the park and to our hotel.
Stopped at the Gorilla Quesadilla food truck for dinner.

We left for home early Friday morning.
Such a great trip!
Before I close, tune in tomorrow for a Meditation in the Mountains series with Becky Beck :)
