Happy!

This baby!

I'm not sure how it's possible, but since she was born, mothering has become so much easier!
She is a little angel baby and the rest of the kids are angels too.
Especially when they are sleeping :)

Dakota finally decided he was ready to potty train and once he decided he was all in, even with no accidents at night.  I'm constantly amazed at how smart he is for a three year old.  He likes to give explanations about everything to everyone.  His prayers are the sweetest and full of gratitude.

Jackson was invited to join Granite School District's magnet program earlier this month.
We were told he is in the top 1% of the kids his age.  He doesn't get that from his parents.  Joining the magnet program would mean Jackson would have to go to a different school.  He wanted no part of that but we asked him to come to the meeting anyway, just to get some additional information.
After the meeting he very matter-of-factly told us that he got this smart going to Rosecrest, so there was no reason why he should go to another school.
He had a point.
We passed on the magnet program.

Emmy is waiting patiently to lose her first tooth.
She can't wait.
So far, she's been a slow loser.
Our kids are slow to get their teeth, and it looks like they are slow to lose them too.

Kloe starts her days happy.
The minute she wakes up she's talking and cooing.
Getting her out of her crib in the mornings is her daddy's favorite.

And then she spends the rest of her day so happy!

April 2002

Life is busy, hard, fun and so good.
Kevin's being very patient with the learning curve of owning a business.
Sometimes, all he can do is take things a day at a time.
I've been focusing on the kids and improving our home.
My dad and I have been working on a major house project!
More details to come!
