Snow in the Mountains

Thursday after school we headed to the cabin.

We haven't had much snow at home so it didn't cross my mind there would be snow in the mountains.

None of us wore snow boots.

There was a lot of snow.

I was so happy to see the tree was still up.

Christmas trees and snow are always magical.

We did all the usual cabin things...

It snowed quite a bit Friday night and it took Garren and Emmy three hours to get there--when it should only have taken an hour and fifteen minutes :(

It was a quick two day trip, but so much fun!!
