Shelves

Since Garren is pretty much a professional wood table and shelf maker, he made me some shelves for Grandpa Keith's house!

They look A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

He made two for the living room and one for the kitchen.

They are the icing on the house!

Only cost $50 and Garren a few blisters.

While Garren put the shelves up, I finished caulking the edges of the tile.

In a skirt.

I was going to go to a funeral.

But we had some glitches with the shelves,

so we watched it on zoom.

Can you even stand how cute this kitchen is?

The funeral was for one of Kevin's favorite people.

Steve Crabtree.

Kevin served with Steve for over 6 years in the Bishopric.

When Kevin was called as Bishop, Steve was battling Stage 4 prostrate cancer, so he knew the day would come when he would need to conduct his funeral.  

He wasn't looking forward to it.

He gave Steve a beautiful tribute.

If God were to have favorites, Steve would be one of them.

Lilly would often ask me, when she'd see Steve sitting on the stand, "Is that President Monson?".

He's definitely just as nice.
