Jackson Turned 8

Valentines Day 2002

So grateful for these 5 valentines of mine.
Life is good.
Kev's had his tow company for a year now.
It has been a learning curve for sure.
We had no idea four of the five trucks that came with the sale of the company were worthless.
There was one day when all five of the trucks weren't working.
If you're wondering, it's impossible to run a tow and repo business with no working trucks.
So Kevin invested in two brand new tow trucks.
As soon as Kevin bought the business some of Larry's (the former owner) best accounts cancelled their business.  In retrospect, Kevin should have worked with Larry for a few months to build relationships with the clients.
But, he's holding his own and taking things one day at a time.

The book business is going well.
Some of our authors come in from out of town to meet us and C, my boss, always takes good care of them.

The Olympics came to Utah!!
Kevin took the kids to Rice Eccles Stadium to see the torch.
Some of our neighbors rented their houses out for a crazy amount of money.
It's been so fun to watch them on TV and recognize all of the locations.

Jackson turned 8 and was baptized in March.
It was such a special day.
He's especially excited to turn 8 so he can play football in the Fall.
He's been waiting for this since he was three.

And how cute is that Dakota in a tie!
Let's just talk about potting training for a minute.
I really thought this kid was ready.
He was waking up dry and having some success during the day.
The first time he went on the potty he wanted to call his Papa Tom to tell him all about it.
Sadly, that was all short lived.
After several accidents we decided Mr Dakota wasn't ready.
Now he tells me every time he's filling his diaper.
He thinks he's so funny.
