Surprise!
So...this girl has some news!!
Her mission call came TODAY!
Are you surprised?
That's what Kloe was going for.
She hardly told anyone she was working on mission papers.
She has been thinking about a mission since last Spring.
Kloe decided a while ago she wanted to go, but has been back and forth, trying to decide when.
She was talking to me about it on our way home from Cedar last month and wondered if there was any way to leave in January or February.
She came to the right woman.
Becky Beck is a facilitator and I facilitated a dentist appointment the day after she got home and a Dr appointment two days later.
This is Kloe's Bishop-Dad opening her mission portal, or whatever it's called.
And this is Kloe filling out her papers in one day!!
One of Kloe's goals for the college life was proving to herself she could live away from home so she would feel confident about living away while serving a mission.
When she was talking to me about a mission on our drive home, she told me about a dream she'd recently had.
She was called to serve in Lithuania and even saw where she'd be living there--in a cute blue cottage on a cobblestone street. The house had vines growing up and down it.
The crazy thing was, instead of waking up with anxiety about getting a call to Lithuania of all places, she felt just fine about it. The dream actually helped her realize just how much she wants to serve the Lord.
So, 6:30 tonight she'll open the call!
Any guesses as to where she'll go?!
My guess is Italy (she would love to learn a 3rd language) or Boston.
In other news, we put up Christmas last night.
We'll be spending Thanksgiving at the family cabin and decided we wanted to come home to Christmas :)
