My Temple

Last June, the church house where I was baptized was torn down.

It's less than a mile from where I live now.

It was removed to make space for my temple!
The land was cleared and sat vacant for about four months.
I drove by several times a week, just watching for some sign of life.

And then this week a temporary office was brought in, along with a construction trailer.
They are scheduled to break ground later this month.

AND TAKE A LOOK AT WHAT GOD WILL BE BUILDING FOR ME!!!
(With the help of Oakland Construction :)

I think of the temple as a breezeway between heaven and earth.
A place where I learn of the things of heaven and the purpose of being here on earth.  A place where I grow closer to my Father in Heaven and Savior Jesus Christ.
Despite not being able to go to the temple as often as I have in the past; I am keeping my covenants and I have felt the protection and power they offer, especially in the midst of life as we now know it.
If you need a little more Jesus this weekend spend some time on this website...
