I Do My Best, And Let God Do the Rest
Kevin has had a really good week.
He's felt much better than he did following the first surgery and the results came back with clear borders! Thanks again for all the prayers.
Kevin has definitely felt them.
As fun as all these Dr visits have been, we are both ready to spend our time elsewhere.
I got to hang out with one of my favorite girls yesterday.
I don't know if it will ever stop being weird that my little Emmy is all grown up and one of my best friends.
Even though it's weird, it's really great.
A couple of my other best friends will be moving tomorrow :(
And taking this very large work van with them.
Sadly, our truck can't help with the move.
Yep, it's still in the shop.
Supposedly torn apart.
Supposedly they're working on it.
The last time the "new" transmission was torn apart, they had it for 5 weeks.
We are 3 weeks and counting with this round.
So much for the warranty.
Good thing I have therapy painting projects to keep me from going postal on the owner of the repair shop.
Look up worst customer service on the planet and you'll see his name.
I've adopted a new mantra with my morning meditation.
"I do my best, and let God do the rest."
Today I'm painting a room for my mama and next week, thanks to a little paint, I'll be restoring the exterior of the home Mama Linda grew up in, to what it looked like when she lived there. It's going to be so cute!
I'm feeling calmer just thinking about it.
And how about that painting shirt I inherited from my dad :)
