Sweet 16

Last Wednesday we celebrated Sweet 16 Gracie all day!

Every year she requests bagels for her birthday breakfast.

Every year, her Dad or I go out for fresh bagels at 6am.



She filled out the paperwork for her drivers license, only to be rejected at the DMV.

They had no record she'd taken Driver's Ed.

Bummer.



Gracie was very specific in her birthday dinner requests.

Manti Chicken

Twice Baked Potatoes

7 Layer Salad

Frog Eye Salad

Peas

Rolls with the stuff on them

Heath cake for dessert

And yes, I did spend the entire day in the kitchen.



She was showered with gifts and a homemade card/book from Lilly...

16 is a birthday party year, but Grace wasn't interested.

She ended up settling for a few friends and S'mores.







She also celebrated a week early by having Emmy cut all her hair off.

She's pretty cute.

And she got things straightened out with her drivers license!  Picked it up Monday morning and is so excited to drive herself to school 🚗😊!
