Summer Times

The other day, these three spent hours together.
A trampoline, sprinkler and slushies make for a good time.
They laughed and laughed.
Gracie has crossed over to the busy high school life, so times like these are few and far between.



A few weeks ago I mentioned Lilly has been slow to grasp a love for reading.
When Aubrey saw the post, she told me about The Mom Store, an idea she got from Ralphie.
The Mom Store is stocked with snacks to buy and stuffed animals to rent with tickets earned from reading.  They get one ticket for every 10 pages they read.



Janie loves to read.
She reads on her own for hours.
So she is REALLY benefiting from The Mom Store.



Lilly reads for an hour every week day, with NO complaining.
