Feeling Bummed
Kloe picked up her cap and gown today and came home looking sharp, but feeling bummed.
The High School threw out a few options for graduation ceremonies.
One was at the Drive Inn, where they'd put each Senior up on the screens and families would come cheer for them in their cars. Another option was a ceremony later this Summer on the football field.
Kloe Was good with both of those, but the school didn't go with either.
Instead, Kloe can pick two people to escort her while she walks around the school grounds and then they hand her the diploma and send her on her way.
Kloe May was NOT a fan of that one.
Her Dad tried to make her feel better by telling her she never really liked High School anyway (which is true) and something about graduating at the Huntsman Center is over-rated.
And then he told her we could celebrate her graduation any way she'd like.
About an hour later we all get this message from Kloe...
Looking forward to celebrating Mother's Day and Baby Kevin's birthday this weekend.
Kevin asked my Dad to give the family prayer...Dad gave a beautiful prayer. We felt heaven near in that hospital room and I've wondered if there weren't other family members from heaven who were there, supporting and comforting us. After the prayer we brought out the birthday cake we had for Baby Kevin. It had 10 candles, one for each member of our family.

Hi cutie heads. So as we all know due to covid-19 i am going to get the lamest graduation ceremony of all time. But do not fret because we as a family unit are going to rise above this virus and make the ceremony of my dreams with the help of all of you ❤️ you ALL are going to attend and like love it.
Obviously i’ll be the valedictorian and giving the speech just like it would’ve been like in real life. Garren or dad i would appreciate it if you would be my principle lol and come up with a little something to say. I expect balloons and streamers and the location will be our backyard. Attendance mandatory. But don’t worry, you all will get something too. I’m making myself a graduation cake which will be served afterwards. Mom is in charge of the motivational speech after everything and emmy and gracie are in charge of the music. If someone wants to get me flowers i wouldn’t oppose. and dakota and jenna are there for moral support along with janie and lilly. Thank you very much. The date will be decided at a later time but you have about a week and a half or more time to prepare yourselves. xo xo me
