Congrats Kloe May!
Yesterday was Kloe's BIG DAY!
We spent most of the afternoon preparing for it.

Kloe was banned to the basement while the girls worked on the decorations.

Emmy might have the party planning/decorating gene her mother is lacking.

Principal Donaldson conducted the ceremony...

And Gracie zoomed the rest of the family in.

Principal Donaldson congratulated Kloe on her achievement as "Valedictorian" and awarded her
her diploma.

And then we all congratulated her...

Kloe gave an awesome speech, and then I shared a few motivational remarks.
Here's a summary of the wisdom I imparted...
You have all the power to create your own reality.
What you think about, and pray about, you'll bring about.
Decide what you want, write it down, and don't settle.
You always have options.
Don't take the pizza.

And then Kevin shared a video of some of Kloe's favorite people sharing congratulations and advice...
Study something you're really interested in that could lead to a job you'll love going to every day.
Keep a journal.
Live in the moment.
Stay organized and take time for yourself.
Take a cooking class this Summer, don't self isolate, make some friends.
You can do whatever you think you can do.
Put yourself out there, work as hard as you can and have fun.
Never ever ever stop being friends with Kara.
Enjoy yourself, have a good time and don't stress.
Be sure and brown nose, otherwise known as networking.
Say yes to everything.
Stick with the major you pick and choose some fun classes.
Take advantage of all of it.

She cracked up when her therapist showed up on the screen with some congratulations as well...

And then we had our own little dance party...

It was unanimous.
Everyone said this was the best graduation they'd ever been to.
It was seriously, so much fun!

And thank you Megan, for adding the fun picture of Kloe!
She took Kloe's Senior pictures last night and in the midst of work and buying a house today, she managed to have one of the pictures blown up and framed too!

We finished off the night with lemon crumb cake!
And yes, it was as good as it looks - thanks Abbie!!!
Congrats Kloe May!
Lots of good things to come!!
I believe with all my heart that one day I will hold my sweet Baby Kevin, healed of all his infirmities through Christ, and together, his father and I will be able to raise him. God is a just and loving God and will one day make up for all our losses.
