Leadership/Girls Weekend
A couple of months ago Kloe interviewed (via video) for the SUU Leadership Weekend.
Check out her little two minute video...
Her video was a win, and she was invited to participate in the Leadership Weekend this past Friday and Saturday.

We had SO MUCH FUN!
I should probably clarify.
It was SO FUN for me and fun but also a little stressful for Kloe.

Kloe's favorite road trip snack.
We had the best time just talking about all the things on the drive.

We arrived in Cedar City around dinner time.
My friend Shelley recommended the Pizza Cart, so we went there for dinner.
Might be the best pizza I've ever had.
Seriously.
SO GOOD!

They also serve gelato and Kloe picked the best flavor.
Cookies and cream for the win.

And check out the little spoon shovels...

We checked into our hotel and got a good night sleep before Kloe's big day.

I dropped her off at 11:30.
For the next 24 hours she was busy non-stop...

I decided to spend the rest of the day in St George.
My aunt Jill and I went to lunch and it was so fun to catch up.

I cut grandpa Moon's hair...

He's always taken a lot of pride in his hair.

And then Jill and I sat on her swing in the front yard and talked for a couple more hours.
It was a great, lazy Friday.
Saturday morning I took a walk around campus while I waited for Kloe to finish up.
It really is a beautiful campus.

I picked up one exhausted girl!
She needed food and a nap so I took her to her favorite Hawaiian restaurant where she told me all the details. I am SO proud of her for setting a goal to be a part of this weekend and then reaching it.

She slept hard on the way home.
I listened to Andrea Bocelli and ate my weight in chocolate licorice and aunt Jill's peanut brittle.
It was the best :)
