A Long Road

Jax and Aubrey dropped the boys off early yesterday morning on the way to the hospital.
Did you hear about some of the Utah hospital's canceling nonessential surgeries?
Sunday night Aubrey got a call telling her her surgery was cancelled.
That was the second time it had been cancelled, and because of her insurance changing next month, she couldn't delay it any longer.
Also, her surgery was anything but nonessential.  She's been miserable for years with jaw problems.  So she took matters in her own hands, called the hospital, explained her circumstance and the surgery was back on.

The boys were able to join us for scripture study.
Everyone is much more awake at 8am, as apposed to 6am.

We were nervous about this little guy.
He won't take a bottle.
Grandma said lots of prayers, was persistent, and by the evening he was a pro.
Logan is such a little angel.

Aubrey ready to go into surgery.
It has been such a long road for her to get here.

There was a little hiccup with the procedure, and it took a few hours longer than planned.
Her lower jaw was too soft to support the original placement, so the surgeon had to make adjustments.
Her surgeon is amazing and the surgery was successful.

The babies stayed with us last night and we'll continue to keep Beau for now.

Jackson warned Kloe about sleeping with him.

So far Beau's having the time of his life.
He LOVES Janie and Lilly, the chickens, the bunny, grandma Becky's peana-butter balls, and he can never get enough fighting with Papa.

We love you Aubrey and are so grateful this surgery is behind you.
We are praying the six weeks of smoothies and no solid foods will pass quickly!
