Celebrating Our Oldest

We began celebrating Jackson at the Cracker Barrel for breakfast.
Jackson LOVES breakfast.
And bacon.
When he was 12 he got a chocolate lab he named Katie Chocolate Bacon Beck.  Or something like that.  May not have been in that exact order.



Jackson and Kevin spent several hours shooting at an archery range.
But they took no photos, so I have no proof.
But they claim they had the best time.
Aubrey and I had fun catching up while they were gone.



Jackson chose a couple of Cafe Rio key lime pies for his birthday cake.



And that little bug was a big help blowing out the candles.



And opening Dad's presents...



And if you're looking for a fun game.
This is a good one.
And that's saying something since I'm not really a game girl.



Our final celebration of Jackson was sitting around the fire.
Roasting marshmallows.
And talking about all the things we love about Jax...
Kevin loves that Jax is his best friend. 
I love how dedicated he is to his family and how driven he is. 
Aubrey loves playing games with him, talking and raising babies together. 
And then the conversation got away from us and we each talked about what we love about ourselves.
It's good to give yourself a pep talk every now and then :)
