Kauai Girls Trip - Bikes
On our last day we didn't have to be to the airport until around 5pm, so we rented bikes and rode along the coast.

It was the best five bucks I'd spent all week.

A few other things I want to remember is sunset at Hideaway Beach.
Meg and I hiked down to this little beach one night and the sunset was incredible.

Fun fact: Meg and I are 15 years apart.

It was fun to watch my mom experience Hawaii for the first time.

The morning we went to the Farmer's Market it was blazing hot.
This nice lady selling acai bowls let my mom sit under her shade tent...

I am usually the planner for our vacations.
I turn a few details over to Kevin but I take care of all the logistics--unless hiking, fishing, boating, hunting or camping is involved, then it's all Kevin.
Although it's my joy to plan, I was really grateful to Megan for taking care of everything.
All I had to do is pack and show up.
She made an awesome Google doc with all our options...

We ran into these ladies everywhere.
It was a mother and daughter and they were the nicest.
The mom would hug us when she'd see us.

I'm the bed maker in my house, I make it the minute we get up. But this week my roommate Kimmy made the bed every day! It's the little things.

The sisters were pretty busy from sun up to sun down, but one night we got home early enough to watch some Christmas Hallmark Hall of Flamers with my Mama.
Except we mostly sleep-watched.

Thanks to Meg for choosing us as her plus 5 for her work trip.
She spoiled us.
It was so much fun!
And thanks to her very generous boss, Jonathan. He is so good to his employees and his employee's mom and sisters :)
