Alcatraz

You leave for a few days and the eggs pile up!





This little stinker keeps escaping...

She's laying her eggs somewhere in the yard.
We can't find any of them.
So Kevin added more fencing and we thought she was secure,



until last night.
Kelly disappeared and the girls couldn't find her.
Lilly was beside herself.
Kelly is her favorite.
She was trying to clean the coop through her tears.
I asked her if she'd like to say a prayer together.  She was so upset she could hardly talk, so she nodded yes.  We thanked Heavenly Father for Kelly and prayed she'd come back to the coop.
Right as we said amen we looked over towards the coop and there she was.



Kevin found one spot he thinks she wiggled through, so he secured it and then named the coop Alcatraz.
He's pretty confident there won't be any more escaping.



Here's Kevin earlier this week telling the girls how he's going to turn the chickens into delicious chicken nuggets.



They weren't amused.
