Just Like Old Times
Yesterday morning it was just like old times when Dakota would go with me to mission prep every Sunday morning the year before his mission.

Except this time he was the one doing the teaching.
He did a great job sharing some of the lessons he learned from his mission.
His mission president taught him that some missionaries plant, some water, but God provides the increase. He saw that to be true throughout his mission as he'd work hard to find people to share Christ with, often times God would place people in his path, in unexpected places, who were prepared and ready to come unto Christ.

Dakota also spoke in Sacrament Meeting yesterday.
He bore a powerful witness of The Book of Mormon and the blessing it is for each of us personally if we will read it and prayerfully ask for a witness of it's truthfulness.
It was a beautiful meeting.
My Kloe and Kara also spoke about their experiences at Trek and then Kloe and Gracie sang one of Dakota's favorite songs, Joseph Smith's First Prayer.
He especially loves the first verse in Spanish so they sang part in English and part in Spanish. The words are so beautiful.
Oh how lovely was the morning! Radiant beamed the sun above.
Bees were humming, sweet birds singing, Music ringing thru the grove,
When within the shady woodland Joseph sought the God of love...
"Joseph, this is my Beloved; Hear him!" Oh, how sweet the word!
Joseph's humble prayer was answered, And he listened to the Lord.
Oh, what rapture filled his bosom, For he saw the living God.

Dakota's favorite 3rd grade teacher came to support him.
We love Michelle! I wish she could have taught Dakota's little sisters too.

Our friends and family gathered afterwards for lunch.
Thanks to my Aunt Jeri who documented the event for me!

Meg captured Grandma Meldrum giving Esty some advice...

We had to say goodbye to our Arizona babies after church.
It was sad.
We've loved having them.
We've been spoiled having them here for so long.

And we are going to miss having this little guy running around giggling all day.
He's loved playing with his aunts.

Sigh.
I am tired but happy.
Happy and grateful.
God is good and he's blessed our family immeasurably.
