Welcome Home Elder Beck
Thursday was just as great as I knew it would be!
It was a long morning though.

I kept an eye on the flight tracker...
Jackson and Kevin hung that big beautiful American flag.
The girls made welcome home signs.
And then finally, at 11:35am we all piled into the bus.
Going to the airport to pick up a missionary is SO much better than dropping one off!
Kara documented all the excitement...
Dakota wasn't the only missionary returning from the Washington DC North Mission.
There were another 12 or so.
The place was PACKED with family and friends.
Dakota had his first ride in the bus.
He thought it was pretty great.
Dakota wanted breakfast so we headed to Mimi's.
Kev and I just kept hugging him.
We couldn't help ourselves.
Dakota and Garren met for the first time, on the bus!
There's a memory they'll never forget :)
After breakfast we went straight to the church to meet with the Stake President.
He gave Dakota an honorable release and Dakota was able to share some of the things he learned on his mission, along with his testimony.
Beau passed out as soon as we got back on the bus.
Such a big day for the little guy.
And just like that he's back, and it's almost as if he never left.
I'm loving every minute of having all my people together.
