  I'm so proud of Kevin.  He worked really hard on this.

The story's main character is based on our son Dakota and some of his real life experiences.  The picture on the cover is of little Dakota at Lake Powell. 

The connection with Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid is based on the experience of Kevin's Great Grandfather who was a sheriff.  Rumor has it that he chased and caught Butch Cassidy and may or may not have let him go.  

Some of the family's adventures are based on experiences we've had together at Lake Powell.

It's a fun book to read together as a family, especially if you have any road trips coming up, or are just looking for a quick and fun Summer read.
