The Day of the Dad’s

So. Many. Daughters.
And every one of them adore their Dad.

I adore their Dad too.

We celebrated this Grandpa last night...

For family night we all shared favorite memories we’ve had with our Dad's and Papa Dave...

This Dad is the sweetest...

And I sure miss this Dad...

I'm a little weird.
Sometimes I pre-feel my feelings.
For instance, a few weeks ago I was in a book store and the clerk was telling everyone about this great book that they should buy for their Dad for Father's Day, and how she was planning to give it to her dad for Father's Day.
I hadn't given any thought to Father's Day without my Dad until that moment.
The sads immediately washed over me and I quickly checked out so she didn't have time to come tell me about the book.  I spent the next couple of days feeling sad that I wouldn't have my Dad around on Father's Day.  So when today came, I felt alright since I'd already felt my sad feelings.

After church we piled into the short bus and went to the cemetery.

We all shared favorite memories of Papa Tom and then we gathered around his headstone, held hands, and all together said, "Have a great day, have a great day, have a great day!"
And we did.

We can't forget this great great grandpa...

Hope his Father's Day was the best!
I'm sure my Aunt Jill and Uncle Craig spoiled him.

I’m also so grateful for my Heavenly Father.
I love Him and I’m so thankful for all he does for me and the people I love.

The End.
