We Left Kloe Home

Tuesday was THE BEST!

Dad and Gracie did baptisms in the beautiful Newport Beach Temple.
We finished up what family names we had at the Cedar City Temple so we did some names for our neighbor Brother Tinkham.

Me and these two passed the time on the temple grounds.

We waited for about an hour and a half and the girls never got bored.

After the temple we headed to Ruby's and the beach!

The girls played in the ocean for about four hours.

Kev and I sat on the beach under our umbrellas and read and read and read.
It was fabulous.
This was my vacation book--so good!

We spent Wednesday in Disneyland.

My fanny pack really clashed with my red skirt so I asked Gracie what it was worth to her to wear the fanny pack.  All's she wanted was a $5 mickey pretzel.  Little did she know I was prepared to pay her 10 bucks :).

We consulted the Disney app and decided a 15 minute wait for Big Thunder Mt Railroad was no problem.  Well, the wait was actually 60 minutes and we were tiiiiiicked.  They were letting 30 fast passers through for every 5 idiots waiting in the regular line (that would be us).  Thankfully the first ride was the worst wait and the rest of the day was great.

We sent Kevin back to the hotel at nap:30 for a little time out every afternoon.  The heat and my Kevin are not friends.  We always stay at the Desert Inn and Suites right across the street for easy access and if you book early it's a bargain.

Gracie's favorite Disney movie of all time is Up...

Did I mention we left Kloe home?  Once our kids go to high school they can take or leave Disney so we leave em home.  Kloe was so busy with school, work and friends I hardly ever heard from her, but she did send me a photo of this little art project...

There was a glitch with her schedule and she didn't have a second period so she made good use of her time.  My girl didn't fly under the radar for long though.  Her advisor caught the mistake and now you'll find her in Aerobics second period :)
