A History For Our Posterity

We had a great weekend!  Kev and I spent most of it in Wyoming at a Trek training (more about that tomorrow) and the little girls had a great time with Emmy.

We've made sure to make good use of Emmy since she's been back.

Last night was the Sollis Family Night.
Meg showed THIS from President Russel M Nelson about family history.
She taught us about the importance of keeping a journal so we have a history for our posterity.

And then she asked each person to share what they would like their posterity to remember about them.
Here are a few of the things that were mentioned...

Testimony of the Savior Jesus Christ
Love for living the gospel
Having faith
Testimony of the blessings of tithing
Always showing others kindness
Seeing people's hearts
Love for the temple and family
Compassionate
Serving others
Showing love for others and for life

And then Aunt Kimmy fed everyone cinnamon roll cake (it tasted as good as it sounds) and Papa Tom, Mama Jan and Meg finally got their DNA tests ready to mail in.
