All The Fisherpeople

We are loving having Jax, Aubrey and Beau in town.

And having Emmy 20 minutes away has been great!

Last Saturday I went fishing with all the fisherpeople.

It was my first time ever fishing on Strawberry Reservoir.

Kev and the boys have been there lots of times over the years but somehow I missed the boat.

See what I did there.

We arrived on the lake just before 5am and Kev's trolling motor wouldn't start. 
We tried everything. 
Nothing worked. 
Rick and Jett were up there with their boat so we ended up piling in with them and we had THE BEST time!

The fishing was fantastic. 
Caught lots of kokanee and cutthroat.

She's such a cute fishergirl.

She LOVES being on the lake with her dad.

Uncle Rick LOVES these cookies.

He thanked us for being there so he could share them with us since he may or may not have gotten a tummy ache from eating an entire package the last time he was on the boat.

Rick only kept one cutthroat and it was a biggie.
