An Office in the Hub
Welcome to my former office...
The dining room table or kitchen counter is where I work. I'm constantly clearing my stuff off the counter for meals and every Saturday I clean up this mess for Sunday dinner.
I've always thought it would be nice to have an office off my kitchen since the kitchen is the family hub and I'm always in it. Kevin suggested we turn the upstairs laundry room into an office but I like doing laundry upstairs so I didn't want to get rid of the washer and dryer. I took some measurements and realized if we moved the washer and dryer to the wall under the window we could fit a desk in there.
So Kevin made it happen and installed a longer dryer cord to make it work.
Amazon has 10 foot dryer cords in case you were wondering. Home Depot and Lowe's do not.
He and Kloe put together my new desk...
and Janers put up some pictures for me and asked if she could put her Harry Potter magnet on my magnet board...
Love her arrows...
It's a little cozy but it meets my needs perfectly and it's so nice to have all my stuff in one place.
