My sister Tricia sent me this photo of Estabon blowing out his Great Grandma Moon's birthday candles!  Tricia's little Haylee is standing next to Grandma.  They were both so little and now they are all grown up.  Haylee gets married later this month.

I so miss my Grandma Moon.  She was such a sweetheart and she loved all her great grand babies.  She always made you feel special.

We made Emmy's last rent payment a few days ago.
As Papa Tom would say...we have mixed emotions about it--Joy and happiness.
We will look forward to resuming those payments for Esty in a couple of years.

I had a beautiful morning at the Oquirhh Temple Saturday.
Kev and I went earlier in the week but I felt like I needed to go again to worship in support of what I needed to fast for on Sunday.  Friday night I was so tired I began to talk myself out of going but I couldn't shake the feeling that I needed to go, so I prayed for help to be able to wake up the next morning.  I woke up at 4:30 and it was easy to get up (because prayers work, even the little ones).  I will never forget the experience I had in the temple that morning.  In the 25 years I've been going I've never experienced anything like it.  It was a reminder to me to follow through on promptings, and give up the stuff that doesn't matter as much, for the stuff that does.

The girls spent the weekend with their Nintendo 64 and Dr Mario.
Janie's best buddy Spencer has had our Dr Mario for like 3 years so Janie got it back Friday and now they're all obsessed.  Cracks me up.  Who needs the latest gaming system when you've got a Nintendo 64.

The girls listening to the First Presidency Devotional last night.
We had a family night about the opportunity to help
then we drew names of one person in the family we could serve throughout the month of December.  It's going to be a great December.
