Bonded Quite a Bit
Last week for part of Fall Break we took a quick big food girls trip to the cabin.
You had to be 12 or older to come, which Janie and Lilly weren't very happy about.
We had planned to go to St George so my Aunt Jill could take the girls shopping. I think I've mentioned before that she is the bargain shopping queen and my girls LOVE shopping with her but the stars would not align so we stayed closer to home.
Kim and Kait came along. These 3 girls love each other so much. They stayed up talking and laughing and bonding. We all bonded quite a bit over food. We really like to eat.
Now you know where Kloe gets her smile.
Meg joined us Thursday night just in time for our traditional Spaghetti dinner.
I don't remember what she was showing us but we were all gripped.
This poor girl has had a major flair up of the rash that likes to make it's home on her arms and neck so we made a quick trip to the doc and pharmacy to try yet another remedy. She makes for a great guinea pig.
Stopped at Zupas for more food and then to the Park City outlets for shopping.
It was brutal.
I hate shopping for clothes, especially when the store is short on checkers and long on lines. But, the girls found some great stuff and they were happy so that's all that matters (although they were REALLY missing their Aunt Jill).
These two survived. Their Dad made sure they got plenty of corn dogs, ice cream, McDonald's cheeseburgers (their absolute favorite), Captain Underpants (kill me now), and lots of Dad snuggles.
They also got to play in the leaves at Grandma Meldrums (we have zero leaves) and had a sleepover with Mama Jan and Papa Tom. So, it worked out to be a pretty good Fall Break for everyone.
