The Birthday Girl is 6

Our Minnie girl kept with tradition and helped mom make her pink Minnie cake.

6 looks good on Lilly!

She's getting smarter by the day.

Her latest hobby is writing notes to people and she does a pretty good job of sounding out the words.  She can play with her friends without freaking out when it's time to come home.  She stays in her bed 80% of the time.  She only hits her sister about once every 3 weeks (huge progress there).  And she still loves to sing her way through the day.

She can't wait for Emmy to come home and give her ukulele lessons.

At the top of Lilly's birthday list was Shopkins.

My girls are obsessed with those things.

Lilly made her very own birthday sign.

Mom accidentally chucked it during one of her purges.

Thank goodness the garbage man hadn't come yet.

She was pretty happy with the birthday outfit she didn't want.

Her birthday dinner was going to be pigs in a blanket, but then she switched to dutch babies.

We missed Papa Dave who was home sick.

The birthday ended with 6 runs through the spanking machine.
